Description:

The pressure transmitter type JUMO dTRANS p02 DELTA measures the differential pressure of non-aggressive and aggressive gasses, vapors and fluids (-40... + 85°C). The pressure transmitter operates as per the piezoresistive measuring principle. The output signal is a load-independent direct current linear proportional to the input pressure. For flow rate measurement, the output signal can be set with a root extracted characteristic line in relation to the input pressure.

In the “ex protected version Ex II 1/2G EEx ia IIC T4-T6“ the pressure transmitter can be fitted inside the explosive area 'zone 1' and connected to 'zone 0'.
For special applications, e.g. filling level measurement or for aggressive media, an extensive range of seals are available.

The pressure transmitter JUMO dTRANS p02 DELTA can also be operated with a HART communicator
or with a PC in conjunction with a HART modem and the Windows compatible PC setup program.

Features

  • Measuring ranges: 60 mbar... 25 bar
  • For differential pressure, filling level and flow rate
  • For non-aggressive and aggressive gas, vapor and fluids
  • Medium temperature: - 40... + 100 °C
  • Linearity: ≤ 0,1% v. EW
  • High long-term stability of < 0.1 % per year
  • Load on one and both sides up to 160 bar static pressure, optional up to 420 bar
  • Excellent temperature compensation
  • Local operation or via HART protocol
  • Signals when the measuring range is exceeded/gone below, in the event of measured value exceedance, defective sensor
  • Accessories: seal, valves, setup program
  • Optional with ATEX approval

Representation through display

  • Pressure in 13 different units; measured value in % or scaled with a freely selectable dimensional unit
  • Output current in mA
  • Sensor temperature in °C or °F
  • Measured value error, measured value outside of measuring range
  • Minimum pressure and maximum pressure (fly back)
  • Pressure and sensor temperature can be displayed simultaneously

Settings via the operating keys

  • Zero point correction
  • Start and end of the measuring process without predefined pressure (blind setting) or with defined pressure: simple, time-saving, convenient
  • Attenuation
  • Current encoder function
  • Output signal in the event of an error: settable: 3.85 mA or 21.5 mA
  • Lockable keys
  • Zeroing of min.- and max. measured values (fly back)
  • Linear / root extracted characteristic line
  • Density correction for various media to be measured
  • Dimensional units for pressure and temperature

Customer benefits

  • Process safe and reliable
The parts coming into contact with the medium are made of stainless steel (optionally made of Hastelloy, Monel with the use of a seal), and a system free of dead spaces reflect the resistance, amongst others, to aggressive media. The measuring instrument is very precise (characteristic line deviation of 0.1 %) and offers a high long-term stability of <0.1 % per year.
  • Uncomplicated and time-saving
The measuring instrument can be operated reliably and easily either locally or set through a more comfortable setup program (HART interface).

Applications

  • Water and sewage water technology
  • Paper manufacturing
  • Oil and gas industry
  • Power plants
  • Chemical and petrochemical industry
  • Food and luxury food industry
  • Pharmaceutical industry
