Milesight D2D Communication

Milesight D2D is a device-to-device communication protocol that enables Milesight LoRaWAN® node devices to directly communicate with one another without a LoRaWAN® Gateway.

Why Milesight D2D?

Usually, the communication between end nodes in the standard LoRaWAN networking structure goes through a gateway and cloud. It inevitably results in higher latency, even in the same room. However, by adopting Milesight D2D, Milesight LoRaWAN nodes can directly communicate with one another. It takes less than 1 second to transmit the command.

What’s more, it doesn’t rely on a gateway and cloud platform. So, it saves huge costs, especially for small applications. Furthermore, Milesight D2D features one-to-many control which allows users to control all devices with one single press.

More importantly, Milesight D2D can coexist with LoRaWAN. Enjoy One device, two protocols.
