Remotely monitor high-temp applications
Monnit’s High-temp Sensors remotely monitor commercial ovens, heaters, furnaces, boilers, and other can’t-fail applications with a -50°C to +370°C (-58°F to +700°F) temperature range. A temp swing will trigger a sensor alert for you (or on-site personnel) via email, text, or call.
The Wireless High Temperature Sensor uses a glass coated platinum RTD sensor to accurately measure temperatures from -50°C to +370°C (-58°F to 700°F).
Get temp data your way
This High Temperature Sensor outputs the ambient temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. It is programmed to sleep for a user-given time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup, power up the RTD sensor and wait for it to stabilize then mathematically compute the temperature and transmit the data to the gateway. The High Temperature Sensor is not meant for wet, damp, high humidity environments. This sensor should only be operated in dry, low humidity environments. Should you need a temperature sensor that operates at extreme temperatures and can withstand getting wet or condensed on, please consider our Thermocouple Sensors.
The sensor comes with an industrial battery included with the life of up to 7 years. Additionally, this sensor can be customised with a 3’ or 10’ lead.
All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
- Falling dirt
- Wind-blown dust
- Rain, sleet, snow, splashing water, and hose-directed water
- Ice formation on the enclosure
- Increased resistance to corrosion
Features
- Impressive wireless range of up to 1,200 feet through walls
- Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS)
- Improved interference immunity
- Improved power management for longer battery life
- Encrypt-RF® Security (Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange + AES-128 CBC for sensor data messages)
- Stores 2000 to 4000 readings if gateway connection is lost (non-volatile flash, persists through the power cycle)
- 10-minute heartbeats = ~ 22 days
- 2-hour heartbeats = ~ 266 days
- Over-the-air updates
- Free iMonnit basic online wireless sensor monitoring and notification system to configure sensors, view data and set alerts via SMS text and email
Applications
- Heaters & boilers temperature monitoring
- Ovens & cooking device monitoring
- Environmental monitoring
- Smart machines & smart structures
- HVAC operation & testing
