Single Input Pulse Counter

Monnit's Single Input Wireless Pulse Counters enhance operational intelligence by remotely monitoring usage frequency and actuations, aiding in service improvement and productivity protection. These counters are invaluable for tracking water, gas, airflow meters, and optimising staffing by analysing foot traffic data from turnstiles and doors. The easy-to-integrate, battery-powered electronic counters work with contact or mechanical switches. The ALTA Wireless Pulse Counter can track active or passive pulses with configurable low-pass filter settings (no filter, 40 Hz, and 4 Hz), recording pulses over user-set intervals or Heartbeats.


Dual Input Pulse Counter

The Wireless Dual Pulse Counter is designed to track two output devices simultaneously, making it perfect for applications such as monitoring water, air, power, or gas meters, and door access. It's capable of counting contacts, pulses, or actuations with precision, capturing both positive and negative pulse edges. The counter offers four configurable low-pass filter settings: None for ultra-fast counting up to 1600 Hz, Weak for fast counting up to 80 Hz, Medium for normal counting up to 20 Hz, and Strong for slow counting up to 4 Hz. It records pulses over user-defined intervals, reporting the counts to a gateway via iMonnit or other approved services, and can issue urgent alerts if pulse counts exceed specified thresholds.

The sensor can be programmed to send an alert through the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System when a given number of pulses have been reached within a set time frame. These alerts from the iMonnit system are sent in real time via SMS text or email.

The pulse counter comes standard with two replaceable 1.5V AA batteries. It is also available with a line power option1. This option includes a barrel power connector allowing it to be powered by a standard 3.0-3.6V power supply and uses two standard 1.5V AA batteries as backup for uninterrupted operation in the event of line power outage.

Simply provide power and plug the gateway into an open Ethernet network port with an internet connection. It will then automatically connect with our online servers, providing the perfect solution for commercial locations where there is an active internet connection.

Monnit 4G + Ethernet IoT Gateway

The ALTA® by Monnit Wireless IoT Gateway combines a 4G LTE CAT-M1/NB2 cellular engine and Ethernet platform with Monnit’s wireless access point network to aggregate and communicate data from Monnit ALTA Wireless Sensors. The ALTA IoT Gateway allows ALTA Sensors to operate on the world’s leading cellular networks and stay connected to the Internet. The gateway uses AC main power but also has redundant power through a battery backup lasting up to 60 hours.

To meet the global demand for enterprise IoT deployment, the IoT Gateway communicates with the cloud-based iMonnit® monitoring software via cellular transmission, making it ideal for remote locations or where the Internet isn’t available. The RJ-45 Ethernet jack allows local device configuration, diagnostics, and connectivity backup. The IoT Gateway is instrumental in sending sensor notifications via text, email, or call if user-defined conditions are met or exceeded.

Online Sensor Monitoring Software

iMonnit is a cloud based mobile internet platform and central hub for managing Monnit and ALTA products. All data is secured on dedicated servers operating Microsoft SQL Server. This online user interface is where all your device settings can be arranged, supervised, and modified to reflect your unique environment. OneTemp will look after the activation and setup of your new online iMonnit account free of charge. There is also a free mobile app for you to stay in control at all times. Start with the basic version or upgrade to iMonnit Premiere to enjoy the full features your Monnit experience can offer.
